I am curentley in 10th greade @ EFA. The teachers are ok some seam not to love their job but i can see why. but the biggest problum i think is the size of the school. I think if the school was bigger and layed out better less kids would be in the same spot at the same time and less fights and thigs would happen. Also with a bigger school you could have more class rooms and smaller classes withch is better for most people to learn. Also the school needs more ways to everone involved it would keep people out of troble and help people at the same time.

I am a recent EFA alumna, having graduated with the class of '07; the best thing I can say for this school is that the few good teachers I had throughout the years were excellent. Within each of the disciplines there are those educators who really shine. Unfortunately, too many of the teachers--especially those who teach general or lower-level classes for the underclassmen--treat their job as just that--a job, and not a passion. Students definitely feel the difference. As for the administration, the guidance counselors were on the whole quite helpful, and while I've never experienced life under Principal Williams (he was Vice-Principal when I attended EFA), I remember him as a well-loved man. Even the students he reprimanded respected him. It's not perfect, but it's better than a lot of schools--and I'm glad I attended!

I am a current student at EFA. I am a junior and part of the class of 2008. I feel as if the school is improving but is, like all schools is still in dire need for a make over. Improvement on the outside walls and the trackfield would really improve a lot of thoughts about the school. Our new principal Mr. Williams is a good man and a great leader. He has gone to great lengths to improve the school. He attends almost all sport events and all after school programs at least once or twice. Also his daily afternoon pep talks over the loud speaker are a true motivation. He is a former marine and has no problem flaunting that fact during discipline. He is a level headed man but will not hesitate to take full action on punishment if the violation calls for it.
