I graduated from this school and so did my first born child. Now I'm pleased to have the rest of my children in this amazing school. Friendly staff, fun learning, and priceless memories.

The school is one of the best schools around, with improved student achievement across all grades. The Principal is a no nonsense Principal. His expectations for the children and teachers is high. The discipline has imporved 1000 % since his arrival and he refuses to let any child disrupt the learning. PARENTS WAKE UP!!!! Help your children and help those teachers. They can't do it alone. STOP blaming the school. It's all there for you....help your child...no excuses

Excellent school and teachers. I was a bit scared to send her to public school since she has always gone to private school from the beginning. But now i am just as happy sending her here.

There is a marked improvement since the new principal Mr. Rosner took over. However there is much that needs to be done that will have a direct impact on the students day to day lives. The cafeteria is outdated and the bathrooms need to be update with new faucets. PTA is missing the TEACHERS hence the acronym PTA. I have attended many events and have never seen a teacher present. The school grounds where the students spend their time during recess is poorly equipped with for any kind of recess. There needs to be consistent performance across the board but more importantly they should be held accountable instead they shortcomings explained away with excuses by Mr. Rosner. If we are going to have to pay more taxes every year to improve the teaching quality for our kids then THE TEACHERS MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE! I am a fed up parent!

This is my fourth year in the school and district. There has definitely been improvement in a number of areas e.g. grades, student behavior, academic environment and teachers. The principal Mr. Rosner has lifted the bar at C.H.C. However, there is a lack of parent involvement. Parents need to join the PTA and get involve. The principal and teachers cannot do it by themselves.

From the strongest overachiever to the neediest special needs child, there is truly 'no child left behind' at Clara H. Carlson. The children are always very well prepared for the New York State tests and always do extremely well. In spite of this attention to accademics, the arts are never brushed aside. Clara H. Carlson has outstanding music, art, physical education, library and computor programs as well as an assortment of after school activities. The Principal, Kenneth Rosner, maintains a loving, nurturing environment throughout the building and it is a true pleasure to come in every day.

the school is great. as a former student i have had a great experience there. the teachers are the best and the school is very involved with the students. there is so much i have to say i cant fit it in this space. i highly recommend this school. there are issues but they are always resolved. mr. rosner is a very caring, responsible principal. he is very involved and cares about every student and he has relationships with them. he accepts those for who they are. he even cried at the 6th grade graduation.

This school is great! Over the last two years test scores has elevated as a result of the new principal and his implementation of new new strategies e.g., hiring responsible teachers and other changes in the class room and school. Accelerated programs should be implemented for students who perform well above their grade level.

The principal is fairly new. The teachers need to learn how to work with students who are on different levels of the academic scale.
