Charles F Johnson Junior Elementary School

Since the new principal and administrator have taken over 2 years ago, things have definitely improved. There's still only a select few parents that are involved in the the PTA, and could probably use some more. The art program is fantastic! Some of the lunch and recess monitors are a little "over zealous", but again, the administration is a far cry from what was there before hand.

This school is fantastic! The faculty and staff are dedicated and the principal is terrific! More parents need to step up with those who are involved and see what it takes to get things done and make sure the great traditions that are in place continue!

I live in this district and so i transfered my child to this school when St. joes closed last year. We had an excellent experience overall compared to an average experience in the catholic school system. The principal, teachers and staff are exceptional and went above and beyond my expectations. My son is looking forward to returning next year! I highly recommend this school to anyone considering this area.

I have four children that go to CFJ at this time 2 in kindergarten, one in 2nd, and one in 3rd. I myself as well as my kids think CFJ is among one of the best schools in the UE school district. CFJ instills a sense of respect, responsibility and citizenship in the kids that I really admire. The teachers are outstanding and very engaging with the children. The make learning not only educational but fun. My kids come home talking about how much fun they have had doing a lesson and not even realizing that they learned something new and great. I couldn't ask for anything more out of CFJ.
