Northside School

Very impressed with the level of learning going on in the school. rather than rote memorization the school works on cognitive abilities working with the students to understand and analyze rather than memorize facts and formulas. I have been frusturated with the difficulty getting a meeting with my childs teacher, we came into the school mid year and my childs teacher is not easy to contact or communicate with. That said it may be more this one teacher becuase most other teachers have web pages and blogs that make it very easy to track the class.

Northside was the best school ever with wonderful teachers and great princapals and staff. with so many fun things to do. such as 3rd grade field days and multiple culture day.4th grade early fairport days and field days.5th grade finale and field days.!!!!!! I just love northside<3<3

Northside is a wonderful school. The teachers are very involved and plan many extra curricular activities. The school is progressive and forward thinking. Technology is advanced with many classrooms having SmartBoards. Principal is very open in communication and knows most parents by name. Nice learning environment.

My daughter attended third grade at Northside. The atmosphere was very loving and nurturing from the principal to the teachers. She absolutely loved it. The academics were in line with state standards and there were a variety of activities which she could participate in from chorus to after school programs. We loved this school!
