Develops character: Agree

The school is Bible based and teaches their interpretation of the principles. The use the Kings James Version of the Bible, which is confusing to most children trying to understand scripture. No one speaks that way.

Be careful. They will tell you that your child can work independently at his/her own pace, but they will penalize the child if the child doesn’t finish a topic in the time frame prescribed by the school. They have a way of leaving your child back, but will give the child an honor award at the end of the year. Your child could be in that first grade in math but 5th grade in English. Your child could finish the PACE for the year get an honor award and still be a grade or two behind, and still get an award. They mask their grading system with a numeric index that they understand, and you the parent must ask them to explain your child's academic level, on all subjects. Make sure you understand that you pay for x-number of books (PACES)/year. If your child does not finish all the books- that you’ve paid for already- in the school term- you will pay for the same books the following year.Yes, you will end up paying twice for the same book. Double Dip. Ask them why. If your child is enrolled in Summer school, you will pay for books that are normally given for the Fall term, but the child has less time to complete all the books. And guess what, you will have to pay for the same books again. If your child finishes all the books(PACES) before the school year ends, the school will expect you to buy more books to keep the student working for the rest of the term. So, if your child works too slows, you will pay extra, if your child works too fast you will pay extra. The school does not want the child to advance lessons without the approval of the “supervisor”. The child has to raise a flag and hope that the supervisor is not too busy with other students. That means the student has to wait, and what happens to children that site idle? After Kindergarten, I do not recommend this school.

Teacher effectiveness: Neutral

I don’t know about all the teachers, but most of the students at this school a family to most of the teachers. So, you know how the students is going to perform in the class room of their father or mother. This is not a good environment to measure leadership or effective communication. Take the teachers and put them in a class with children that are no living under their roof , then test effectiveness.

Amount of homework: Agree

The homework is based on the student’s class work for the day. If the student completes their goal for the day then there is no homework.

The curriculum is great. If your child is willingl to work , he or she can only come out on top. Parental involvement is important. In addition, your child has a friendly environment. I feel my child is safe at this school .

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent what more can I say. Students are not limited by their peers, a student can achieve any goal he or she sets. No more being penalized for being an over achiever as is the custom in other schools in which students can not go beyond their teachers lesson plans. Teaches skills students will cherish and utilize for the rest of their lives. The school is simply wonderful!!

I love this school! The children get individualized attention here not found in public schools. I can't believe how excited my children are to go to school everyday. They have exceeded their grade levels and are already one year ahead in their work. They have excelled on standardized tests also. All of this within a Christian environment. I highly recommend this school.

This schools offers an environment that allows the children to learn the importance of team work as a student body. It's also teaches morals through Christ Jesus.
