my step daughter started at Seward this year as a freshman and she loves it, she is so much more active in this school and has achieved so much already...she was a Spartan of Excellence and is on the Volleyball team..the teachers and staff are very involved with all the kids and know them by name and have good interactions. It makes her confident and she strives to make them all proud and she also finds them to be easy to speak to. I am happy my other 2 children are in this district

Excellent school - Mr. Rheaume and Ms. Moore, along with a dedicated teaching staff, have made great strides in their constant effort to make this school one of the top performing schools in Orange County. Mr. Rheaume is a no nonsense leader who expects excellence from both teachers and students and in my experience, has been very responsive to concerns of parents.

I cant think of a better place to send my kids for a quality caring education. Here the principal and assistant principal know all my kids as well as me by name. Thats what a small school can give you. Nobody can fall through the cracks when everyone knows each other so well. S.S.Seward is consistant section 9 winners in Soccer, basketball and baseball and this year is the girls NYS Soccer Champs. It seems that yearly the whole town takes a pilgramage out of town to see our kids go for state titles in something. Recently our graduates have headed onto Harvard,Yale, Cornell, American University just to name a few. I believe that most people have to pay private school for the same oppurtunities our kids have here in Seward.

Great school, we have 3 kids in there. The student to teacher ratio is about 15, off course it is a very small school. Parent involvement is very good. Academics as well as athletics program is excellent!

The test scores posted here (as of 09/06) are old. The new principal has really made a huge difference in Seward! Now, the school is alive under a caring administration run by a dynamic, involved, and accessable administration. A great place to learn.
