AEA 303 is a wonderful school, filled with talented, dedicated, passionate, creative teachers and staff. It is a wonderful place for your children to grow and to be exposed to a variety of curriculum, with an emphasis on the arts. To top it off, it offers a wonderful state of the art after school program through Wingspan!

It's a fantastic school for my child with a healthy focus on all of the pre-school topics I want my child taught about. The teachers are also warm yet professional with special regards going to the Principle Ms. Leto. She has a tough demeanor yet engages all of the students with the kind of firm gentle tone I appreciate as a parent. Very much a recommended school.

I am a caretaker, my niece attends this school. They truly care about the kids, and the teachers are very caring and easily accessible for questions and advice. They have a varied curriculum that makes things interesting and holds the childrens' attention.

My daughter is one of the lucky ones who got in this school and when I say lucky I mean really lucky the school has all the attributes that one would send a child to a private school for its a new school with new infrastructure the school is only till third grade so there is very little chance of your child being bullied in school everyone including the principal knows each child by their first name the principal is very involved with school activities and takes great care to run the school efficiently all kids are bright because the teachers work hard and parents are also very active there is lot of emphasis on art and other extra curricular activity also the school has one of the best afterschool programs now my daughter is in Kindergarten and she is member of an enrichment club I think PS 303 is the best school in Queens

AEA PS303Q: amazingly talented and dedicated teachers and staff; wonderful artistic ethos coupled with an inspired academic curriculum; still forging ahead despite the crippling budgetary cuts. my daughter loves it there, and i'm proud that the NY public school system can still incorporate creative educational gems like this.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, and in grades 4 and 8 in science. The results for English language arts and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles and the science results will be added when they are released in the Fall of 2013. The tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New York. The goal is for 90% of students to meet or exceed grade-level standards on the tests.
