It's not a school, it's a big family. All the teachers are so warm, loving and supportive. And the best part of Ezra is they provide you with the knowledge you need and don't pressure you to be someone you're not.
I love and respect Ezra Academy because the teachers are understanding and caring. They are our family away from home.
That's the school where taught me language as well as matters. Since I was an immigrant, Ezra Academy helped me blend with American culture.
i went to ezra academy and it was the best years of my life still to this day i am in contact with my teachers from that school and talk about my day to day activites with them.
I went to Ezra, so I can speak from experience. If you ask most of the teachers howling they have been working at Ezra most of them would say Over 30years. That can sum up everything in a nut shell. It's a family, and when a teacher puts their full heart into a student, the child will never ever forget that.
Ezra is a wonderful school, warm and caring from the top on down. If I had more children to send there I would. I had 4 children who attended and each one went on to very fine colleges. Reading the negative comments below, and noticing the poor spelling in each, I can only figure that these were students who thrown out of the school. Ezra has a good policy of throwing out poor students as well as those who are behavior problems. Those students who stay the 4 years form good close bonds for years. I am also a former graduate of Ezra who owes my success and love for Judaism to Ezra Academy.
Terrible school, loud disrespectful students that smell teachers that do not know how to teach terrible principals breakfest and lunch are served by gloveless russian couple the lunchroom and bathroom are a mess the locker room is used as a gym the lockers are 4in by 5in do not send your child ot this school it is a fron for a prison 10 hour days of torture and no proper education
As a former student of Ezra Academy, I can say with all honesty that my years at Ezra were the best years of my life. The teachers were caring and thoughtful, the principal was like a father to me. He helped me when I desperately needed help and support. Five stars- no question about it.
i am a current senior in Ezra and am not satisfied with the academics at all if i had a second choice i would not attend this school. The teachers r terrible compared to the ones in public school and the kids r crazy very unserious and can make an impact on u as a student in a bad way. The good thing about ezra is the fun it provides but is that wat school is all about? i dont think so.
my daughter is telling me that ezra is suc ha bad skool. she says that the teachers really cannot teach and the breakfast and lunch is horrible. the building is full of filth and very old and small. the students she tells me that they are very bad and they curse alot.
my family loves this school. teachers are wonderful. principal is great. students are encouraged to get involved in all extra curicular activities. challenging curriculum.
As an alumnus of the school, I would like to point out some of its good points. 1. Ezra is one of the only yeshivas which accepts students at any religious or Yeshiva studies backround. 2. Ezra is a small school with a warm atmosphere. Teachers all know everyone by first and last name. Students and teachers have a strong relationship. 3. Ezra instills strong moral values as well as having a strong secular and judaic studies program. 4. Although not every facility and extar curicular activity is offered. Boys and girls basketball is also offered as well as other boys sports.
My years in Ezra were by far my most formative as well as my most memorable, I made lasting friendships with both the student body as well as the faculty, the personal attention and love that the students receive is incomparable to any school, its more of a family then a school.
Very personalized instruction and administrators are very approachable and available to students and parents.
An excellent school, with great education. This school offers each student personal attention. They offer a variety of courses, all of which are great for a student willing to put in the effort. They now offer portfolio art, as well as a broad range of math, science, social studies, language and extra curricular classes.
