Not a good school. The teachers do not communicate, and the students pretty much run the school. Show up there during school hours and you will find groups of kids hanging outside the office smoking and talking on the phone. There are barely any programs available because of funding, but there is a new auditorium! I really cant name one positive. Most of the community has lived there for many generations,so they do not know the difference between a good school and a not so good school. I do,and I was Very disappointed and extemely happy to get my children out of there.

As an alumni and parent of a student in Forestville Central School, I am very happy with the quality of the school district. THere is excellent communication between teachers and parents, as it is strongly encouraged. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved with activities, so you are well aware of what your children are doing throughout the day. Anytime I have been at the school, the staff are all very professional and friendly, and they love to see parents get involved. I feel that my family is very fortunate to be a part of the Forestville school district and believe that my children will have a very positive experience throughout their school years.
