i have to say that i am on edge with this school i have been trying for years to pull my children out of this school, i have had so many problems, between the dirty bathrooms, the teachers that are too mean and apparently are not attentive to the children the way they should be, my 2nd grader is afraid of his teacher she dosen't even check the h.w and he dosent even want to tell her when he has to use the bathroom because she yells. its horrible.

This school is fantastic. I was a student here from kindergarden all the way to grade 5. The teachers are super nice and support and care about their students. It was a great elementary experience.

I agree Don't expect to get any help if your child needs and IEP or is having trouble with schoolwork. You are on your own! My son is in danger of getting left back and no one sounds interested enough to help.

Am very unhappy with the school and especially with the teachers. I have two kids one in first grade and the other one in 5th. My first grader is having a hard time with the writing & reading that every morning he cries because he is frustrated and scare because he can't write or read like the other kids. I asked the school for help but was told is best for him to repeat the grade! He won't be attending that school next year! School is overcrowded.

I got to say I find a great improvement this year with this school! Last year I was disappointed with the teacher & the lack of response I was getting from the school. this year Mrs. Berkery is an awesome 1st grade teacher & is keeping my updated on all activities offered @ the school. My child has excelled!

i have 2 children that attend this school and i must say that i am not pleased at all, my oldest one cries every morning because he dosent want to go to school, he is a special needs student and he is not getting the services that he needs to achieve, i recently attended parent teacher meeting and they plainly told me that they could not do anything to help my son i requested resoursce room, a para, tutoring, any kind of special extra help and they told me the school was not funded for those services so they could not do anything for me. as a result they have my son on a promotion in doubt list on the first marking period, i feel this school is unfair, extremely disorganized, and they just don't pay much attention to most of the children in the school. i am very dissatisfied!

...Cont Dismissal is also chaotic with all second grade classes being let out one door, one class at a time. The teacher that gets to the door first starts passing off kids one by one to parents and good luck trying to get near the door to get your child since all parents are squeezed up near the door waiting for their kids. They need someone regulating dismissal as well/ Ms. Feliciano the parent coordinator is fabulous but she can only be in one place at a time, which is usually with the younger kids during dismissal and arrival. And forget after school and extracurricular activities. There are none!!! There is an after school study for kids who need extra help but even that is only for an extra 30 minutes. I am very unhappy this year and hope with this new principal there will be big changes.

I recently transferred my daughter from another school to this school and it was a huge mistake. I find that this school is sooo disorganized and very overcrowded. this is now the second week of school and I just found out that she has classmates sitting on the rug because there are no more chairs. On the first day of class all the parents were allowed inside the school to line up their children which caused nothing but fear and chaos for all the other children not to mention all the children that were just walking back outside with noone at the door to stop them. Dangerous on sooo many levels.

My daughter recently graduated from this school, and I found the staff to be unhelpful in regards to the school that my daughter would be attending in the fall.As of now, my daughter still doesn't know what school she will be attending in the fall.I loved this school throughout these years but in the end, they just push the kids out of the school, with no regards for preparing them for the future, this left me extremely dissapointed.
