Greenwich Elementary, in my opinion, has a large variety of options, special programs, and helpful teachers for special needs students, like my son. also, they encourage greatly the involvement of the parents. Always willing to give new ideas and help with my son's learning disabilities. Even going as far as to visit at home, on a day off to check up on things, and see how he was. Unfortunatly, I cannot say the same for the CSE board, who were, short, rude, and in a hurry to just push my child through school, without the vital learning he needs as an adult, simply because it was too much trouble for them. As far as music, art, and sports, greenwich has wonderful programs, for all ages. The teachers and Coaches are excellent in their fields of education, and I Highly Reccomend this school.
Parents really make the difference at this school. Thank goodness they are always there to help and contribute. This school really has great potential, it just needs leadership that has more of a 'team' attitude AND consistency.
