My Daughter and Son go to Merrimac since 2009. Excellent enviornment, teachers and ofcourse Principal. studying level to kids is outstanding with fun, field trips, and many more...... They really like school. Unfortunately due to moving they miss teachers, and friends and school too.......

My daughter is in near the end of second grade and all of the her teachers so far have been competent and caring. Her teacher this year, Ms. Turner, is a wonderful teacher and a great communicator. The school environment is warm and caring. She is thriving here and loves geting up every day to go to school. We are very pleased.

There is so much that is good to say about Merrimac. The staff consists of happy, capable, well-rounded, eager to help, educated individuals. There is a warmth about the school. It is really like a family with a lot of children to care for. The education, programs, security and community leave nothing to be desired. I have two children, one of which has special needs. They are really looked after. The teachers and staff know who I am when I walk in the door and which children belong to me. When my first went to kindergarten and I met for my first parent teacher conference, the teacher went through the lunch menu with me and which of the foods my child was eating and how many bites she took. When my child with special needs started school, the school social worker went out out of her way to help us.
