I have 4 children, and have been in the district for 6 years. The school district is EXCELLENT! Yes, the lunchroom gets loud, but they do have systems in place to tell the students when the behavior needs to change or should be rewarded. The teachers are excellent. As for preferential placement...the schools allow ALL parents to submit a letter in the Spring with information regarding their child's learning style, the type of teacher they feel would best work with their child, and any special concerns. I have also seen them change placements at parent request. I don't love all of the administrators, and I have requested not to have my children in certain classrooms because they need more structured environments (but I know other parents who request those same teachers because their kids do great with less structure). But the principals and teachers do their jobs, and severe behavior issues are the exception not the rule. Our kids love school, and I think that says it all!

The administration os ineffective. Claasrooms are chaotic and not conducive to learning. Preferential placement given to some. Lunchrrom atmosphere is intolerable. Discipline is virtually non-existent. We will be leaving the district at the end of the school year.
