The spirit is the most contagious thing whether it is in sports or the enthusiasm for special events Safe Halloween for example, the students embrace the challenges they face with energy!

H.H.S. has many good extracurricular activities and the school supports it well. I love this school and the school counselers are the best!

My three children, who each have very different interests and abilities, received a great education at HHS. Extra help is always available for a student struggling with a particular subject and there are many opportunities for extracurricular activities; sports, clubs, events, etc. Like everything else in life...it's what you make of it.

My three kids have excelled at Huntington High School. The oldest, who has difficulty with math, ended up getting a 720 on the SAT. The middle child has improved dramatically, And my youngest, who is very shy, has blossomed by joining in some extracurricular activities, following in the footsteps of his older brother and sister, who both enjoyed after-school activities.

My daughter has had an excellent education--her teachers are world-class, her peers are friends she will keep for life, and her extra-curricular activities and academic scores have placed her in strong contention for the Ivy of her choice. This school is what you make of it: participate, give of yourself, and you will be rewarded in kind. Sit back and complain, and deal with the consequences. I see the same parents at every event--regardless of the time at which they are held. Their children are the ones who've received the kind of quality education that is available. They know the value of a good education, and they see no need to move to any other district to get it.
