Our 3 children thrived in this school. We found the teachers to be exceptional and more than willing to work with you and your children.. Hegarty gave our children a wonderful beginning.

Was very disappointed in the school. They make a big deal about the class sizes but don't utilize this for educational purposes. Teachers are very comfy and overpaid. Must say security is excellent. The Art and Music classes are exceptional. The education is was not so great. If you have a special needs (mostly autistic) child this school is great for you! They do alot for the autistic children.

I could not be happier with this school. My daughter is only starting out and from the first day, she loved every minute of it. The teachers are warm and loving and the minute we signed up, my daughter felt at home and comfortabe. The special classes, such as Art, Computer and Library are very well done. She also has come very far with the Reading Program. We are all very pleased!

My son attended this school last year. His teacher was very caring and supportive. The staff at the school helped him receive the extra help and support he needed to succeed in school. The music program is great. The classes are small but that helps the teacher focus on less individual needs. I am satisfied with his experience at the school.

'Good Enuf' mentality prevails here with a few exceptions...music, PE and ARt are to be commended. most teachers seem to go thru the motions day after day. Big dissapointment as far as meeting the needs of our brighter children...families are leaving district in search of more challenging environments..great district for Special Needs or ESL/remediation services..this is where all the money goes..scores are very important. Involved PTA as far as fund raisers etc..as long as they dont make waves ...School Board needs overhaul to include people who actually have school aged children AND people who dont have political connectiions or self serving agendas. You would think that with such small class sizes the scores would be thru the roof....ANd the needs of all students would be met..not so.. Most teachers are quite comfy in the dictated day to day 'everyone does the same' scenarios...'good enuf' is not Good enuf!
