Teacher quality
Principal leadership
Parent involvement
My granddaughter attended this school. In my opinion they don't follow their Mission Statement and Philosophy.
The worst experience I have ever had in my life. They do not believe that a parent must know how their kids are being scored and they cannot give a clear explanation about their method of grading.
First of all, this school has a lot of programs for their students. Second, students are offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Third, the respect for one another is like the 1950's era. Fourth, 3 private play grounds and parking. Fifth, teachers and principal quality and leadership excel. Sixth, Speech lab and SETTS tutoring available. Seventh, Title 1 Math and Title 1 Reading available. Eight, Staff is educated and so are the parents.
You get what you pay for. My DD went there for nursery, the class is dirty, the teacher said that they clean the toys there 2x a year and had 19 kids in a small class with one teacher and 2 assistents, the teacher once told me that they barely had space on the floor for nap time. That's crowded!!! If you have a strict diet for your kid, forget it! They have pastries, candies every week, if you ask them not to give it to your child, they won't, but in the other hand, it's not fair he/she doesn't have it, while everyone else gets it. But it is afordable, if you have to work and you don't have any other place to take your child to, your kid is safe and they have plenty of activities during the week.
Our Lady of Fatima School's foundation is comprised of excellant teachers, outstanding principal leadership, challenging programs and great community involvement. The students are given guidance, knowledge and exposed to an environment that supports their freedom of expression and praises innovative thought.
u will not find a better catholic school around...that is why so many children register there every year. They start educating the children when they are 3 years old and they send them off to high school at age 14 years well prepared for life. The staff is very caring and the education is great. I have sent 3 kids there and if I had more i would send them. Also, the children learn so uch about there religion, they taughrt me. Register if u can, they usually have waiting lists to get in.
I moved my 2 kids from another catholic school to fatima and what a wonderful difference. They are learning so much more. There is great discipline, good religion, and terrific teachers and staff. If you are searching for a school try Our Lady of fatima. They will give you a tour anytime and they have lots of Open House dates. You will love it
My child went to this school for preschool and I quickly got him the heck out of there! They always made me feel like my child was only another check in the mail for them and parent involvement was nonexistent. The teachers were good people but EVERYTHING my child learned that year(ABCs, numbers, etc)he learned at home. I never felt like I was getting my money's worth at that school and for the what they provide, your child's better off at some daycare. I was extremely disappointed in this school and wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
I'm new to the school this year and so far I'm not happy with the school. The children act like public school kids, no discipline. Parents way of thinking is also that of public schools. One would think that children in catholic schools are better behave... not here. You are paying for what you can get for free at any public school. Presently I'm thinking of changing my children next year to another school.
It is a great school!! love it, and teachers care for all the children. I like how they prepare them for the studies are demanding and of high quality. My son goes since he was in kinder. He also loves his school.
This school is perfect and great in education and kids learn well. I just love the school and it is just perfect and clean and calm and very secure, it's actually the cleanest school I've been to As a student i really love this school and recommend it to parents and guardians.
I think OLF School is great. Principal and teachers are very dedicated. Yes, classes are big. But we, as parents, want our kids to have a good education and accept that.
big class size ,students act like public school kids .teachers like to complain alot without working on the problem.
i don't recommend it to anyone they stuff kids in classes and my kid keep getting sick as i believe have no time to clean .they have a very a councelor with a very strange character to deal with.early children classes are 27 kids and they ready to accept more kids at any time.very hard to communicate withteachers
I once thought the school was one of the best in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, its slowly been losing its status. If you have a child with a learning disability/behavior problem(s) this school is not for your child.
class sizes are 30-40 per class and the younger grades are in trailers in the outdoor schoolyard. They have an early childhood director for some odd reason who does nothing. The teachers must be overwhelmed with the big class sizes & do not pay attention to all the childre or their progression in learning (only what they see through test scores) My kid went there for one year and it was more than enough...
I went to this school and I think that it a great place for child to grow and learn. I learned so much when I was there. It prepared me for high school in terms of work load, subject matter, and performance. Not only that but the faculty are loving and caring people that make it a great environment for kids.
this school is pretty good. once in a while the children will get a little wild but overall its an average school
