My child attended Bethel until junior year. At that time she transfered to our city high school. Although Bethel was limited in their class selection, she was well prepared for the transition. She was able to complete and pass all NYS regents exams and was even able to graduate early, finishing high school class load in January of her senior year. During the year and a half spent in the public school she took only 3 core education classes because she had already completed most graduation requirements at time of transfer. The rest of her time was filled with the extra classes that Bethel did not offer (elective classes). She found most of those a waste of time. Bethel had given her what she needed to graduate early, and work for a semester to earn money for college. Her only regret is that she didn't just stay at Bethel.

I went to this schoool for 4 years untill i moved to ga. I loved bbca, yes it might not offer much, but its small, everyone has a friend, the students are very welcome . I know i would much rather have great friends then extra curicular activities. The teachers are very supportive and friendly.

My child attended this school until the 9th grade, then transfered to our district's public school. My child's academic advanced placement opportunities were limited due to the less advanced classes offered at Bethel. Although Bethel offered Bible classes and weekly chapel sessions, it didn't offer adequate academics with hardly any other electives like TV production, photography, or child development. Because of our public school, my child has received several art scholarships to prestigious colleges she never would have received if we kept her at Bethel. She also takes every AP class available and already has 3 college credits, although only in 11th grade. I understand that it is important to many to have their children attending a 'Christian' school, but is it really worth it to sacrifice their futures for it? Rather than spending large funds on a new addition, how about hiring more teachers so better classes can be implemented.

Bethel is an excellent private school with fabulous teachers and small class sizes to facilitate learning. They provide an solid academic program in a wonderful environment. They have basic music and sports activities available but do not provide the scope of a larger school. Parents are offered many opportunities for involvement and parent/teacher communication is exceptional. This school provides a caring and personal environment for children that fosters self confidence in a way that larger schools cannot compete with.

Nice small school with excellent quality in education. It has a band that's not so big but it's there and the sports are there and most everyone is involved. E.C. activites are hardly available but the atmosphere is friendly.

This school has no disiplinary actions at all! The students , many male, are getting away with things that in a public school children would be exspelled or suspended at the least. Something has to be done along the lines of a stricted punishment! For the saftey of our kids!
