Kendall Elementary School

This is a nice small school. I did move to the area because of the distric. I do see they have been making a lot of pesonal changes, some better some worse. I have overall been pleased with the Elemantary school. They do have a lot of extra support in place for all the students. Which I like because then your child doesn't need an IEP or 504 plan to get the extra help it is readily avalible to them. There are always good an bad in a small district. We are getting some younger teachers in and they have great fresh and new ideas.

Kendall is a great little school with small classroom sizes and personal attention. Teachers keep you informed regularly on your childs performance and behavior. I'm very happy with this school district.

The communication between the parents and the teachers is great. The teacher are even more excessible by email then ever before. Everyone is very friendly and they make sure that all the students meet the standards of the state and if not they get the help that they need to pass with all their friends. My daughter was a little below the standard when she started school and now she is doing terrific since school ended. Any parent would love to be a part of the Kendall school district and the friendly community.

As a student, past substitute teacher, and parent at KCS...I only have great things to say about the school. Its small size lets everyone shine and get the attention they need and deserve while not skimping on the thing that matters most - a quality education. Go Eagles.
