At the time of this review, the administrators only care for their own personal agendas and not whats best for the community. Both sports and academics are on the decline. Passing and graduation rates are now skewed with the creation of The Big Picture to pull out kids who were in danger of dropping out or low on test scores. Majority of the teachers in district are there for the kids and are great. There are a handful that do come off as just there for the money. Just not the same school that I graduated from in 2004.
Wonderful and extensive programs for all needs. Sports teams are well- coached and well-supported. Teachers are top-notch- small town atmosphere with lots if 1:1 attention in classrooms. Students are well- prepared for college and work placements.
This school needs to pay more academic attention to the non native american students. It seems most focus on the native students and crate programs to benefit them and not enough on the others.More attention needs to be given to the bad and disruptive behaviors of some..The sports program is to political.Favortism shown way to often.
School doesn't offer a lot of programs, lacked discipline of students when I attended. Teachers not paying attention to what was happening in the classes...I.E. bullying. Not many girl sports teams and the female sport teams they did have lacked funding and good coaches.
Quality of academic programs for a school of this size is excellent. Administration is cooperative and caring. Parent involvement is encouraged and our child had received an excellent education. The teachers are very caring and involved!
Lack of student support, students on their own, sink or swim philosophy. Fighting among student body. Parental involvement discouraged if not in keeping with administrative whims and needs. Very political.
