I am in the middle of getting my B.S. in Education. I have been able to use my Lake George JR/Sr High teachers as textbook examples of Best Practice teaching in the classroom. I did not realize it while I was a student there, but LGHS teachers are some of the top educators in the area. Lake George Jr/Sr High is a safe and friendly school with very highly qualified and capable teachers. It's classes are relatively small, everyone knew everyone's first and last name in each grade. LGHS is a great school!

Great opportunities, great people, great place!

If your child is academically inclined then your child will have no trouble. If your child has learning difficulties then they will fall through the cracks. Most of their academic programs are strong. There is a plethora of programs available to students and new ideas and/or programs are encouraged by faculty. I do not feel the level of parental involvement is as high as it could be.

I am a graduate of Lake George High School and I can tell you that I have the best of memories of it. I had excellent teachers/mentors. I enjoyed going to school so much that I didn't even want to stay home when I was sick.
