My son is graduating this May '09 and heading off to an excellent college thanks to the top notch, committed and nurturing faculty at Northwood. This school was not even on our radar at first, because my son is not a hockey player. But he loves snowboarding, rock and ice climbing and those sports, mixed with the excellent academics, rounded out three fine years in Lake Placid. I'm glad we found this school!

Outstanding school! One of the best in the country. Small and very academically challenging. Great hockey program and excellent to prepare students for college. Many admitted to Ivy League schools

My daughter graduated in 2003 and now attends college in California. I love this school! Though a bit strict, it provided a truly nurturing environment and afforded opportunities for her to grow and excel. The school strives to provide a 'family' atmosphere. I believe it qualifies as a 'Great School'.
