I have two children that attend Lido, a 5th and 3rd grader. This is a great school with great teachers that do care about the children. It is so important that the parents work with their children and the teacher to make a great student. No matter what school your child attends, they need parent involvement to be successful. My kids love the school and teachers here at Lido. If your child needs challenging, they will do it.
I sent my Son there from Pre-K to fourth grade the school was good up to 2nd grade only. In 3rd Grade the school work was so easy and 4th grade was worse. My son didn't have any homework for the entire year. I had to move my son and my other younger son to the Catholic school. When he got to the catholic school he was so far behind the other kids it took him almost a full year to get caught up.
lido school is a wonderful school. They have so many great teachers there.
We have been very happy with Lido School for the past 3 years. I am interested to see how the final 3 years go. The principal and teacher in charge are top notch and so is the majority of the teaching staff. I wish there were more enrichment activities and more parent involvement but overall, we LOVE LIDO.
Both of my children have gone to Lido Elementary and I have been very satisfied with the of the education they received while there. My younger son was involved in their Math Olympian Program as well as the Odyssey of the Mind Competition, and was enriched by both experiences.
