one of New York's great strengths is the education and success of immigrants. Newcomers is unique and special shool where motivated young immigrants can excel and thrive. The teachers are the most dedicated, creative and committed professionals. I am proud to vote for this most exceptional school. I am a counselor and I have worked with this excellent school.

I love the diversity of its student body and the dedication of its teachers.

I have 2 daughters, 17 and 19 who are both starting their senior year. It has been a great school for them both. They came 2 years ago from Ecuador with limited English, now they are fluent. They are working on their SATs. It is nice to have a special school just for kids new to the country.
