If your student is able to reach out to their teachers with respect and sincerity, is able to work as an individual who wants the best out of their education and understands that the world will not make things easy for them, then Lowville Academy is a terrific school. Filled with some great teachers who really want the best for their students coupled with the smaller class size it's a great fit for many. There are some issues, however any school has issues. The problems with Lowville Academy are overshadowed by the successes of the school itself. One could say that the decline in student ambition is the cause for the schools problems.

I find this school so willing to support their teachers and bus drivers. They over look incendences of them grabbing studnets in anger only giving the teachers or bus driver a slap on the wrist. Nothing in their record. I find this very distrubing. They are suppose to be teaching our kids non violence. Yet they are not doing anything about these situations.

Lowville Academy Central School has been a wonderful school for all of my children to go to. There has always been endless clubs, academic, athletic, music, that children can join. They have a peer tutoring program as well as teachers who will give up their time to tutor. Parents are always encouraged to become involved, but alot of times do not recieve information until your child is already in trouble. The academic programs are considered some of the best in the state and I would agreee. As someone who both graduated from this school and who sent children there I would definately recommend it highly.

Being a former student and senior, not to mention being a new student, LACS is an awesome school. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the teachers are awesome. I wish I could of came here sooner!
