i consider the children who attend lyndonville elementary school to be very fortunate. the principal, mrs. good, is always eager to bring the parents and teachers together to benefit the students. the students just adore her and are so happy to see her in the halls. the district has brought together a group of teachers who are superb at their jobs and are also very caring individuals who work well together as a team to insure the success of all students. i am, however, most impressed with the value placed on the importance of moral values and character that is a major part of everyday life in the school. the principal and teachers set outstanding examples for the children to follow. character traits are taught throughout the school year. i feel that lyndonville elementary school should be held up as an example of how a school should be.

My child has been attending this school for 4 years now. For a small school I think this is a great school. The principal makes herself known to all the children and their parents and the kids love seeing her in the hall. She makes each one feel special. The teachers are very nice. They love parent involvement and treat each child with respect and caring. The down fall of this school is it's after school activity. When school is over there are no extracirricular activites for the k-4 grades. A couple times a year they do hold a movie and worm club for a few days. There is no late bus for this school either so if a child needs help after school the parent has to pick them up which is a disadvantage to working parents. Overall the school is great.
