Madison school has served the community well in providing a relatively broad education in a small district. Our three children have all gone from Pre-K through middle school grades here, and have found the atmosphere to be very supportive and caring. As at any school the state testing is a constant focus of the program, but our children have found the teachers inventive in finding challnges for them.

Madison Central School is your typical upstate rural school. By enrolling here a parent can be quite assured to have a safe, normal education at the kind of school you dream for your children. A prior history of great athletic teams plenty of past banners hanging in the old gym. A rebirth of excellence is happening there. Teams are finishing well in the sectionals. Good coaches and traditions. Current Superintendent has gotten the picture from day one I give her good grades. School board seems to have the community's best at heart. School district has turned around now growing faster than any other in Madison County. If I was looking to transfer my children to a safe, normal place to grow, get a good education, prepare for the future then I would give Madison Central School a through look.
