Blaming the principal and her qualifications does not address the issue's that the public schools are facing in today's society . We need to teach our children how to deal with others and not pull out or leave the situation unless everything is exhausted. I have a child who was bullied and have only positive words for how this principal addressed the situation. It's PROCESS not People that need to change. No place is perfect !

Teachers are uninterested in teaching the children, quick to label, slow to help. Don't reach out to parents, condemn parents for not sitting in on elementary classrooms, don't offer enough options for kids, behind the times. Treat parents like they shouldn't be involved and then wants to know why they don't step up. Very unaccepting of children with special needs. Unless your kids are perfect robotic students they don't want to put forth the effort to help them.

class sizes are small - it has a family enviroment, but, it does have potential for improvement, newcomer have to be extremely friendly to fit in which is hard for shy children. Lotsa of after school activities ie. boy and girl scouts, baseball, soccer, need more girl oriented area's such a gymnastic's but it does have tennis for the high school kids.. not enough parent envolment, just the same parents that are somewhat tired of doing it all.

MCS is a wonderful school. Class sizes are small and teachers are awesome. The new principal is extremely helpful and is really involved with the children.

Administration, Guidance and Faculty don't encourage or support students to take classes that will challenge them. They just tell students that they will never need that subject for what they want to do. As we all know teenagers don't know what they want. They are enabling and not challenging our children, as well as, limiting their options for the future.
