My son graduated from Martin Luther back in 2005 when Regents were offered as well as some AP exams and he was challenged but now with my daughter in the same school I realize that the educational standards are not what they were back then...No Regents and teachers who are not adequately trained and prepared to teach at the High School level. I am really disappointed with this school.

My child graduated from MLHS this June/2011. I had another child that graduated several years earlier. I was disappointed to see the student's were not given regents exams. They were not as academically competive as the public school student's. I noticed that many of the graduates were not considered for 4 year colleges unless they were exceptionally bright. In terms of safety, I felt my child was safe away from the gangs and public school drama but as for the guidance people and college counselors, I feel they could have done a better job.

When my daughter attended MLHS, the variety or classes offered were not on par w/what she could have found at a Catholic HS. I have since found out that there are a few charter elementary & public hs which do not tolerate misbehavior, like bullying. Whereas, my daughter and her friend had to endure it at a private school like Martin Luther. And one time in front of a teacher and her class, w/o a word being said by the teacher.

Martin Luther offers an excellent education in an advanced placement curriculum. Classes are small and the teachers truly care about helping the students to succeed. We are all here because we love what we do and we care about children, and it shows.

Because students are taught about the love of Christ that the world so desperately needs together with excellent academics.

I love Martin Luther because of the family atmosphere. People here go out of their way to help and support and encourage one another. Teachers offer extra help for students who need it, students mentor and encourage each other and the faculty works together to get the job done! Our Alumni support the school, in part because of the great education they earned here, in part because of the friendships and wonderful experiences they had here!

I graduated from MLHS and now I work there. Great environment to learn in and not get lost in the big crowd. Teachers and staff care and freely give of their time to help you succeed in life.
