Middleburgh Middle School

I began attending Middleburgh school back in the fourth grade. Now, I'm in eighth. While Middleburgh might not have the best regular curriculum, the accelerated program is fantastic. It's challenging, and the teachers are actually really nice. Help is always available, and I think being in the acclerated program has helped push me to achieve even more. I've made a lot of friends, and the school is in a really safe area. There are a ton of extracurricular activities available, especially sports. Parents are getting more and more involved, and overall, I think it's a pretty good school.

My children are in their 4th year in this school district after moving here from Long Island. I can't believe the supportive atmosphere, the way the teachers care about their students and bend over backwards to help should there be a problem. It certainly is a far cry from the district from where we came and I am so pleased that my children are part of such a caring and accepting school atmosphere. The teachers are friendly and helpful. They are always available as is guidance. Sports are great as well, my son is very happy on the school's golf team. My daugher is looking forward to being able to participate in school sports next year in 4th grade.

My daughters'teachers strive for high academic quality and communication levels. The Special Ed. Team is terrific, sensitive, suportive, and compassionate. Extracurricular activities are available, well advertised, with abundant attendance. Parental involvement is amazing. We are eagerly entering our ninth year in this School District.

Middleburgh school loves to get parents involved. They have a ton of activities, like the techna palooza, where the student's made exellent things in thier Technology class and desplay them. They have a variety of sports after school inclding the after school program. The after school program helps kids do thier homework, gives them a snack and the students get to play games after they are done with their homework. If your child is struggling in a spicific subject the teacher's offer help. Or sometimes the child could get AIS or extra help with that particullar subject.
