I went to NB thinking I'd give my 3 yr old an edge. He came in a respectful, shy little boy. Five mos later he left an angry, out of control bully. Each time he acted out, they simply sent a note home. I requested mtgs & begged for their knowledge & experience as to why his behavior was so sudden & unlike him. They simply shrugged their shoulders & put it all on me. I was called out of work so many times I almost lost my job. And if the student/teacher ratio isn't enough to make you run in the other direction (17:1 in one class, 28:2 in another) then ask for your child's curriculum. They won't provide it. And if your child never had social/behavioral issues before then starts to display them, plan on getting no support from this school &/or staff. Do plan on them asking your child to leave. These poor teachers are so overstretched & the rooms are packed to an illegal capacity. No surprise my child was ignored/neglected & felt abandoned. This place is nothing more than a money making machine. The web site states "their staff is trained to successfully guide each child in developing unique abilities within a carefully planned, customized curriculum." What a joke.

I have to say that when my daughter attended New Beginnings 7 years ago, I was so impressed with the teachers and staff. She learned so much and was at a great advantage when she went to kindergarten. At that time I would have highly recommended it to all. Last year I enrolled my son and had nothing but issues with them. He had some speech delays which interfered with his ability to learn at the same pace as the other children but according to their philosophy, each child will learn at their own pace. This definately was not the case here. I also read in his teachers backround that she had credits in special education. Obvisously that didn't matter. They did not do all they could for my son and I ended up changing his school. I was very disappointed this time around.

I agree with the parents about the staff being incompetent. I heard from people that they heard the school was good so I enrolled my child there....what a mistake. Not all private schools are good and Montessori proves that. NO I would not recommend this school to anyone.

New Beginnings is a great school!! I was shocked to read the two most current reviews. The school has made so many positive changes especially in the past school year. The owner and new director are actually getting parents involved with the education and the PTO is planning so many great events. Our family has had children attending New Beginnings over the past four years and we are so happy about all the new changes and are looking forward to the fact that the school is going on to 5th grade. This is a great private school that has no religious ties. And academically all the parents seem very happy with how well and advanced their children are.

this school is the worst ever. my child didn't learn anything, fell way behind when he attended a real school, and the staff is thoroughly incompetent. do not recommend to anyone. do not send your children to this school. you will regret it.

My child attened the school for 2year. The school was great until they did a big change over on staff. They replaced the principle, and everything went down hill from there. Its not about the children anymore.. This is sad so sad it was a greatr school : (

New Beginnings has the most wonderful and loving staff. My chilld has grown so much since attending the school. There are many programs that other school do not offer for free. It is very clean and safe learning environment for all children. This school does not compare to any other school in the area including their rates. I would definitley recommend this school to anyone with young children.

New Beginnings is truly a wondeful school. They allow the child to grow and learn at their own speed and allow the children to experience more then just academics. The PTA provides many wondeful event and the school is very eager for imput from the parent. This school provides a very safe enviroment with wonderful teachers.
