After one month in this preschool I pulled my son out. My son was unhappy every day. We came from Creative Children Christian Preschool to St. Paul s and he never had a problem there, no separation anxieties or boredom in school that he complained since he started going to St Paul s. The time out technique of disciplining children upset him very much even if he wasn t the one being punished. I believe that positive reinforcement is the best way to ensure positive behavior. There are 24 kids in class and kids are not getting individual attention. My son is back in Creative Children Preschool where he gets plenty of love and is proud of stickers that he gets for good behavior. Our payment for June was not returned to us but I have my happy child back!
This is the right place if you want your kid to grow confidence and independence for kindergarten. They have excellent staff and their curriculum is very ample. I like the safety of the playground in the back of the school as well as the faith oriented activities. My daughter went to St. Paul for 3 years and now she is in second grade, my little son is turning two and will be joining their mommy and me program this fall. I can't wait to go back to St. Paul.
This school is by far the best pre-school in the entire Monroe/Wodbury Area. I have twin girls and both are developing their own little personalities They do all kind of different activites making the childrens day an exciting experience. We will miss the school and staff as my little angels are ready for Kindergarden.
This is a wonderful school! My son has been attending for 3 years (since he was 2 years old). It is a nurturing and compassionate, yet structured environment, which has prepared him extremely well for kindergarten. They do everything from practicing letter writing and having music, gym and art, to having fall and winter festivals. The kids participate in simple science projects such as growing plants from seeds and watching butterflies emerge from their cacoons right there in the classroom. Enrolling my child in this school was one of the best decisions I ever made for his early childhood development.
