This is a wonderful school with a great staff and very well trained educators who care about the success of our children. My son just turned five in November and he is doing very well thanks to the great educators at Grandview. They are using learning tools that enable our children to learn more effectively and apply their knowledge to everyday life. Thank you Grandview for being a very supportive group of educators and especially Ms. Mcandless and Ms. Greaux.

I am offended by the parent who would refer to a child as undesirable. Grandview is a family. We celebrate our diversities and differences. Being poor does not make you undesirable. Our school has one of the best enrichment programs for gifted and talented students. Students who are in need of help will also receive the best there is to offer. Parents need to stay involved. The teachers are dedicated. Our new Principal and Vice Principal have an open door policy and are always available for parents. I couldn't have asked for a more enriching environment for my children.

Grandview has been very positive for my children. The school identifies children who need more challenge and offer that in form of accelerated learning opportunities (E.T.C.-Enriched Thinking for children) which they are introduced to in the second half of 1st grade through 6th grade. The teacher,Mrs. Boni Rose, is wonderful. They also offer 'Studio Art' for those who excell artisticly. The principal is retiring in June 2006 so it is hard to determine the fate of the school. The PTA is very active and do a lot for the children. It is important, as a parent, to be involved in the school!. The school and teachers are great. There could be some undesirable students from undesirable areas so it is important to monitor your childs' friends and influences. I have two children that have graduated from this school (and 1 entering) and they both are straight 'a' or '4' students.

Great, friendly, concerned teachers. Activities to stimulate a childs mind and body. My son switched from another school and loves it, the tranisition was easy. My only concern is that some of the work is not challenging for gifted children, at this time I cannot comment on the advanced programs.
