Both of my children (ages 5 and 7) attend MMS. The teachers are incredibly caring and focused on each child's individual learning capabilities. I have seen so much progress in my Second Grader and I'm so impressed with the work she's done over the past 3 years here. My son had a difficult time with separation at first, but the teachers were very sensitive to helping him feel comfortable, and now he loves school as well.

A beacon of light for a mother who wanted to raise a healthy, compassionate, knowledgeable, respectful and aware child. The philosophies of Montgomery Montessori School are rich in compassion, culture, arts and mindfulness. My son is surrounded by teachers and students who value each other and work together to create a community that is hard to find in our modern society. This is truly a unique and wonderful school!

My daughter is 3 years old and loves her school. She looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends everyday. The director and the staff are outstanding. They are understanding to the needs of each child. We love how everyday the director greets every child as if they are the most special student in the school. Our daughter loves all the special classes. In 2 months she has learned more Spanish than I have in my entire High school years. She speaks it as if she has been submerged in it forever. We can't say enough about MMS. We had looked at number of Montessori and Private schools and none come close. If you are looking for a true Montessori school you have to come and visit. You won't ever want to leave.

After years of failed attempts to find a school that could address my 7 yr old daughter's individual learning style, a friend recommended Montgomery Montessori School. My child is a Kinesthetic learner whom benefits from hands on instruction and I had been looking for a school which understood this philosophy with small class sizes. The faculty members which include the director and teachers at Montgomery Montessori School sparked My daughter's enthusiasm to learn without stifling her ideas. The curriculum is engaging and the environment is nurturing. My child is a different student since attending Montgomery Montessori School, she exhibits confidence and a passion to learn.

My daughter began attending Montgomery Montessori School when she was 3. MMS outshines any preschool program I've had contact with and I am glad that MMS is an option for elementary and middle school as well. MMS has been an excellent fit for my daughter. I have watched her grow from a shy child who watches on the sidelines to a confident participant and even a leader. My daughter has been exposed to so many interesting and diverse experiences through art, music, Spanish class, stories, celebrating different cultures and even banking. The director and teachers are very receptive to feedback and always address my concerns in a sensitive and respectful manner. I appreciate feeling included in my child's education by getting to view pictures of my child's day on a regular basis and through field trips and events. The community of parents whose children attend MMS are always welcoming to newcomers, and support each other like a great big extended family. As a parent I am very happy to drop my child off each morning to a school that I know will nurture her emotionally and socially while challenging her academically.

I can not possibly say enough good things about this school! Our son has blossomed there. The school day is fun and engaging, safe, nurturing and empowering. They get lots of time outside exploring nature and playing freely. Every child moves at his or her own pace and gets to determine what work they want to focus on in a particular day (so they are actually ENGAGED!). The school offer myriad trips, after-school programs, and creative learning experiences that are so fun our son doesn't even realize he's learning! The classroom is incredibly well managed with discipline that works and follows each child's needs. The best thing that ever happened to us was the brick wall we found at our old school. It inspired us to look around and in doing so we found this INCREDIBLE place. I can't say enough good things. The proof is in the change we have seen in our son. It's been nothing short of amazing!

Montgomery Montessori is a beautiful school in a warm, loving environment with an attentive and caring staff. It truly feels like family. The Parents are involved and together we create a culture of learning and love. The sense of independence and empowerment in my Daughter has grown tremendously. They have wonderful afterschool workshops that are both exciting and enriching. Our Daughter loves that recess can often be spent down at the river (and so do we). We feel the teaching methodology is superior to that of other schools, public and private, and it s shown in her progress every day. The opportunity for individualized instruction lends itself to guiding each student based on how they best learn. Our Daughter LOVES going to school!

Montgomery Montessori School has played a major role in our children's lives for the past three years. Next year we will have a child enrolled in every level (primary, elementary I, and elementary II). We are very happy with the school and cannot imagine being anywhere else. I've spent time touring dozens of other schools (public, private, Catholic, Waldorf, and Montessori), and none of them even come close to offering what we get at Montgomery Montessori School. I am so grateful for the educational experience we've had thus far. My husband and I believe it is well worth the short-term investment to create a lifelong learner. Our children love to go to school every day. They thrive in the comfortable, nurturing environment that is MMS. They never get lost in the shuffle of an over-sized, understaffed classroom. Their work load is never too easy or too hard for them. It's just right, thanks to the follow-through on Montessori philosophy and the dedication and attention of their teachers. They've gained both independence and confidence at this school.

From the time we started this school four years ago It has been not only a second home to me, but more importantly to each of our students. I am amazed at how the school has grown over the years, and truly taken shape to reflect our goals, dreams, and passionate beliefs on what education should be. We have built not just a beautiful school that insipires children but an amazing community of families that value education and share in out beiliefs. I enjoy each and everyday in my classroom as do my students. Together, we imagine, explore, inspire, and create. This school is a remarkable place for both students and faculty, and together we will achieve greatness.

Our family has been associated with Montgomery Montessori School ever since our daughter was 2 years old, she is now 5.5 & a Kindergartner @ the same school!! This school has been an extension of the family for her in terms of upholding the value systems we are trying to instill in her. The teachers and staff are extremely approachable and are very proactive and open to working hand in hand with each parent addressing the individual needs of the child. Keeping in conjunction with the Montessori way of teaching, the teachers and school go a step beyond to give the children an all round exponential experience, resulting in confident, independent, self motivated, polite and over all happy children, which in turn results in happy parents and happy families. There is a strong sense of "community" within the school and each of us looks out for the other, which is a very good example for the children as they learn by example. The entire staff of teachers from primary to elementary are extremely dedicated and always put the interest of the children well before their personal requirements. Highly recommending this school for those who are looking for a real education for their children.

Our personal experience with Montgomery Montessori School and the members of their amazing staff have far exceeded our expections in both education and overall school atmosphere for our son, Nicolas. Nicolas has grown stronger as an academic student while at the Montessori school which has been proven by opportunities that he has been able to participate in outside the normal school environment. The investment in Montgomery Montessori School for our son has truly been one of the best decisions we have ever made. We encourage any parents that have considered the Montgomery Montessori to make the positive change for your child or children and you will be truly impressed by the difference and growth that you will see in your child/children. Through Nicolas' academic commitment and the assistance from its Director and the teaching staff, Nic s high school dream has come true. He recently received two scholarships from Storm King High School and he will be attending SKS in the fall of 2013. Words cannot express our gratitude to each of the staff members.Thank you all very much, as we will always remember Nicolas'educational and life experiences at MMS.

We were so lucky to find Montgomery Montessori School. This school has a close parent and school connection. We all work as a team for the success of our children. The leadership is strong, and honest and the teachers work toward teaching leadership skills and finding what works best for each of their students, including my son. When we came to this school we found a second home. We are grateful.

I don t even know where to begin...this school has been nothing short of amazing for my daughter. The community they have created between parents, staff, and children is just incredible. Montgomery Montessori School is a small private school, that provides wonderful values, structure, education, and inspiration. My daughter loves each and every day of school. She feels challenged, motivated, and warmly encouraged. You could not ask for a more loving environment for your children.

Very poor leadership. Unprofessional and does not think about the needs of the child. Poor communication and curriculum is weak. Not worth the high tuition at all.

Excellent primary teachers...unfortunately poor leadership & communication on the part of the Directress. Waste of money if you want your child challenged.
