This school needs to merge desperately. It has been open for too long! It's gone down hill!

Very unhappy with letting my kids go to this school. We will not be living here much longer.

I am very pleased with the education that my daughter (Kindergarten/1st grade) has received thus far at MMCSD. Her teachers have taken a keen interest in her progressing and learning.

I feel my kids a being cheated out of a good education. The teachers are no longer looking at things like spelling or misspelling on work that is turned in...

This school takes a personal interest in the students. Their educational, athletic, and programs about responsibility and extension beyond school (ie. reading, scholastic, educational, athletic, and job offers) are beyond any of the large school programs. They go beyond themselves to help parent and student.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 New York used the New York State Assessments to test students in grades 3 through 8 in English language arts and math, and in grades 4 and 8 in science. The results for English language arts and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles and the science results will be added when they are released in the Fall of 2013. The tests are standards-based, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of New York. The goal is for 90% of students to meet or exceed grade-level standards on the tests.
