kindness & compassion, spiritual values combined with effective academic curriculum, children are people, not statistics
My son is in kindergarten this year and he aboslutley loves going to school. Last year we went to another local Berkshire school and I had to practically force him to get in the car each day whereas now he cries when there is a snow day and he can't go to school! I have heard this from many other parents as well. The children are happy, show a lot of care and respect for one another, the teachers are excellent with amazing credientials and the leadership is superb. The school nurtures the individual in a 'family like' group setting. I highly recommend this school to all parents who are looking for a nuturing, stimulating and respectful place for their child. It is the perfect next step from home-schooling and a great alternative to public school!
Our son has been here preschool through 6th grade and loves it! Loving, nurturing teachers, lots of time for nature exploration, great theatre program--too many things to list.
A wonderful nurturing environment for children to learn and grow as individuals. My daughter is flourishing there!
All of my children have attended MRS over the course of the last 20 years. I have always found the education to be child centered. The teacher-child ratio is exceptional. The atmosphere loving and supportive. I wholeheartedly endorse this school.
