I think this school is great because you learn so much and just so you know there is a huge difference between being the best and just being yourself

This school has farily new adminstration (this is the 2nd full year). The principal is a very good leader and is holding every teacher accountalbe for what goes on in the classroom. All the subject areas are being taught in the classrooms that I have been in. The staff is dedicated to making this a succesful school. The children are the number one priority.

Parents may want to check to see that their child has adequate textbooks. All children must meet standards which include instruction in not only Reading, Writing and Math but also Science and Social Studies. Parents may want to check notebooks on a daily basis and ask, 'What did you learn in school today?' Ten teachers left last year due to lack of effective leadership. This former employee thinks very highly of her peers but cannot rate the new staff. Administration would benefit from a remedial course in 'Boosting Employee Morale 101.' and 'Public School Administration 101, It's Not Just About the Paycheck, It's About the Kids.'
