Kearney has a highly constructed education system, and students are having great great fun in school whether is in classes or after school activities. Since it's a Catholic school, the teachers and sisters are all very enthusiastic and generous, they teach students with their whole heart. Each student will be assigned a very clean and large locker; foods in cafeteria are affordable and delicious. And above all, the Kearney spirit presents in every corner of the school, people are loving and willing to help each other. Kearney is not only a school, but a BIG FAMILY for everyone who attend. You will definitely have a memorable four-year journey there in Kearney and make lots of life-lasting friends in many different aspects of life.

I attended this school in the mid 90's. The teachers are second to none and the sports programs are fantastic. I excelled better than imagined I could while attending Kearney. Having attended public school my whole life, I was not accustomed to the Parochial school atmosphere, so I ended up transferring to public school, but only because my grades at Kearney were excellent. The teachers at Kearney made learning easy for me, even if the most difficult classes, such as Latin. They took the time to make sure you understood the material and always had office hours where you could do work independently with a teach close by to ask questions to, or work directly with a teacher. I am a big fan of the NYC public school system but if I had to send my daughter to a Parochial school, this one would be the only choice.

My daughter is constantly challenged by teachers and fellow students to be the best person she can be. She is growing academically and athletically. The teachers, coaches and administrators, have the values and discipline to teach the children, how to succeed in life.

Bishop Kearney spells professionalism to a tee. My daughter became a new person after being imprisoned and trapped in the 'no win' public school system from K-8. Kearney makes all their students feel important and that is what I call the 'right stuff.'

Challening academic programs, opportunities to take advanced placement courses and earn college credit. Also, opportunities to customize programs by fields of interest, including art and music as well as content areas. A variety of athletic programs - soccer, softball, tennis, golf, volleyball. Strong teams with excellent coaches.

I graduated Kearney in 1997 and I have to day if I could go back tomorrow I definitly would. I made my best friends here and I also learned so much about myself throughout my 4 years at kearney and now I have a great career as a radiation therapist and I owe it to everyone there for helping me get where I'am today. I would have to say Mr. Maione was the best teacher I ever had because he taught me not only about history, but he also taught me about life, he was the greatest homeroom teacher we could of asked for. He definitly made our 4 years in homeroom a blast, your daughters would be truely lucky to have him in their lives. Thanks Kearney and Im proud to say 'I was a Kearney girl'.
