Spence is not only an excellent academic institution, it is a nurturing and enlightening environment. The teachers and staff are like family - they really care about each student and remember them years after they graduate. Spence's learning envirornment encourages girls to be themselves and challenges them on a daily basis. Spence has extensive art offerings (ceramics, photography, etc) as well as a wonderful drama program. Spence also offers a strong athletic program with a multitude of competitive varsity teams. Spence boasts a rigorous academic schedule with a phenominal college advising office.

I think what is great about this school is the staff who is so embracing and helpful. I am a potential parent who had some concerns and the individual I spoke to allay my fears and instructed me what to do. This school ranks high on my list

Spence is an amazing school because of the education and all of the opportunities that it provides. At Spence you learn many skills that will help you later on in life because 'Not for school, but for life we learn'.

Spence without a doubt the best, most nurturing, encouraging school in New York. The girls are confident, intelligent, and well-rounded from performing and visual arts to intense sports and academics.

Spence is an academically challenging school with a very high quality and nsupportive/engaged faculty. The new head of school Bodie Brizendine (2nd year at Spence) is warm, yet very professional and very high energy. The school has a buzz of energy that you feel upon entering the doors. We have 2 daughters enrolled and are very happy!
