Both of my sons have attended the Reece School since 2001. The academic curriculum is strong in the lower elementary ages, rapidly bringing children up to grade level up to 3rd grade. The availability of supplemental services such as speech therapy and occupational therapy has been inconsistant, with some great therapists available, but with high turnover. The creative arts program (art, music etc.) is absolutely wonderful and the summer swim program is great for allowing kids to demonstrate a range of competencies. Parental involvement is strongest in the lower grade levels and wanes as the children get older. Overall I am very satisfied with this school, this is a very good school for children with learning disabilities that will allow for their growth and development. My oldest has mainstreamed out of this school now and my younger will be ready soon.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
