PS/IS 180 is making great efforts to enhance the education of our young children. The staff are very capable and work tirelessly to help each individual child. Someone recently said that 'PS180 was like private education for free' and I have to agree!

The principal & his administration believe our children can achieve & succeed. They consistently strive to make them aware of the opportunities that are available & the success they can achieve. Lastly, they always encourage our children to believe that the impossible is possible!

Lovely staff who makes each child feel extra special. And us parents know and believe that our children are extra special to them. My daughter graduated last year and still wants to visit. Now my son is attending this school and he loves it.

It has a great community environment. There is an open door policy with the principal and vice-principal. I love the parent involvement and it has so much more possibilities with more funding. I feel at ease when I leave my daughter there, I know she is being cared for and learning all she needs to prepare her for next year.

My daughter has a wonderful kindergarten teacher who is just so positive and supportive in helping her develope to her best potential. The school social worker has just been a pleasure to work with. The entire school administration wants to see our children from Harlem succeed.

I love this school. I would reccommend it to any parent looking to enroll their children in Pre-k. I would pay tuition if I had to for my son to continue attending this school.

I am a student teacher at this school through Teachers College and I absolutely love this school. The teachers are extremely dedicated to their students success and go beyond classroom duties. The support from families is impressive, and the principal is hands-on and down to earth, while making sure things are executed efficiently. Small class sizes, diverse staff, various extracurricular opportunities, excellent music program, etc.

HNCP is all that any parent would want for their child. It is such a well rounded environment. With over 500 students, the Principal can call them by name. The open door policy and warmth of the school keeps the children eager to attend and Parent Leadership are engaging. This is one of the best schools in NYC.

We are very impressed by this school. I never thought our daughter would be going to school in Harlem, but this school easily compares to the charter and many of the private schools in the city and has restored my faith in the public school system. The quality, kindness and dedication of the teachers, staff and principal are outstanding and the facilities are very impressive.

I really like the school. The staff is nice and pleasant and the school is clean. My daugter is in Pre-K and they have made her transition from daycare to pre-K a great experience and she seems to like the school.
