MCC is a wonderful program. The teachers are beyond caring and get personally involved in your child's success. Communication is excellent. The staff really partners with parents to work with the children both at home and at school. The program offers LOTS of support. Having a child with Autism is difficult to say the least; these people help make everything easier by putting your child in perspective, taking one day at a time.

I found this school to be too costly, the administration to be cold and unfriendly and the recreational activities to be limited at best. In the past two years almost half of the students have left this school due to dissatisfaction with the factors listed above. I had a chance to talk to staff members on a recent visit who mentioned that they were unhappy with their treatment by the administration and currently looking for other jobs. Though the staff is well-trained this school lacks an interest in anything other than the family's pocketbook.

I am a graduate student doing field observation at The ManhattanChildren's Center. I have been in several schools which have have programs for autistic children and this is the best one I have observed. The program and the staff are really outstanding and it is gratifying to see the children actually learning.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
