If your children's pediatrician believes antibiotics are necessary, then I would follow the doctor's recommendation. If your child seems to have a reaction, let the doctor's office know right away. Eating yogurt can help if they experience stomach/intestinal upset while taking antibiotics, but most children have no problem.20939
