St. Gregory the Great in Manhattan. What a wonderful school and very affordable. It's not fancy, but the kids get a great education from 3 very dedicated teachers. They provided a great start for my daughter.

Hands down the best preschool in NY is Home Sweet Home. Yoga class, french class, spanish class beautiful location. Kids are potty trained and they learn how to read write tell time count etc. Really nutritous and delicious meals provided. I can go on and on about this place. I would recommend Action for Progress. That's where my little one spent her early years. Today,my daughter's in the 4th grade. She's passing with flying colors. I credit them, they are very good.

Immediately after moving to Manhattan in the spring of 2007, I was anxious to find a good preschool for my 2 1/2 year old daughter, luckily I only had to look a couple doors down to find an excellent, nurturing, multi-cultural preschool. Next month my daughter will graduate from Renanim of Manhattan and will soon enter kindergarten. As I reflect on her time at Renanim, I am extremely pleased with all that she has learned. My daughter has been potty-trained, learned to hold a pencil, to count and sing the alphabet (in English & Hebrew), created an impressively diverse collection of art projects, and has participated in numerous school performances and field trips to major NYC museums and institutions. The Owner of the school, Rachel Surizon, and the teachers are warm, loving, dedicated, and involved in each child's education and experience. Additionally, school is quite diverse and the parents are very attuned to their childrens' development. After more than 2 years at Renanim, I can safely say that my money was well spent and that my daughter has really blossomed by attending Renanim Manhattan.
