The Lycee français is the best known school. But it is hard to get in and kids don't receive a real bilingual education. I have my kids at the elementary school of the Lyceum Kennedy and can tell it is a very good little school. I think they have experienced some management problem in the past years but the new direction is good and the facilities are being improved. The parents' community is very nice and I am very pleased with the quality of the teachers. They are competent, nice and dynamic and there are always events going on... The children have to work a little more than the usual because they follow both french and american curriculum but it's worth it !

I have not heard great things about Lyceum Kennedy. My husband and I visited it and were not impressed. You should check out Ecole Internationale de New York on Park and 22nd. I have two children there in their second year at the school. We are overall pleased. The curriculum is 60% french and 40% english.
