My daughter is on the 9th grade at the Henry street School For International Studies in an honor class. I have to admit that I am so very grateful and excited that I was able to get this school for my daughter, because Henry street School For International Studies principal and the entire teachers have very good communication between parents and the students. What amazes me is the Jupiter grade system go alert me on any Absents and Tardy's that my daughter makes at school. I would like to use this opportunity to give thanks to the following teachers for their thoughtful understanding and the good spirit of tolerance on my daughter in class 903. Mr. Ardito, Ms. Trina Ms. Flynn, Ms. Guo especially and especially the 9 grade guardian counselor. With your continues dedication to the student, I have a hope that my daughter will achieve her dream of becoming a medical doctor. Peace be with you all. Parent of Venessa

I love Henry Street!! There is excellent communication between parents and teachers. The 6th and 7th grade teachers even made a Homework website!!!! They go on wonderful hands on , educational trips. The staff are always willing to help students even providing enrichment programs. I have received helpful websites and books to use with my son at home to do more work with him. I lOVE Henry Street, not only as a parent, but as a teacher (not from Henry St.).It is evident that these teachers care.

Henry Street feels like a real community. The 6th graders feel comfortable interacting with 11th and 12th graders. HSSIS continues to provide enriching experiences through classes on law, photography, band, Mandarin and many more electives. HSSIS comes close but, NO school deserves five stars because that leaves no room for improvement. In its 6th year HSSIS has continued to follow its mission of Internationalized Studies. Teacher led groups of HS students have experienced travel in Morocco, Spain, Seattle, and the 2010 trip is to India. Students simply apply for travel opportunitities.

This school is the best.Parents don't know what it is like in this school all day, they can only assume!MR.LIN always trust in us and if he didn't he would of given up on us by now. This school will definitaley mature you and show you about the world that you'll have to deal with outside.I've noticed people coming from other schools, including my best friend who didn't know how to deal with bullies, fustration and failure but this school has definatley taught them how to deal with everything!

This school is the absolute worst. There is no organization, structure of communication. The staff have little control over the kids and the uniform requirement were totally ignored by the kids. The new VP has no respect for the parents and assumes the worst of all the kids. Don't sent you child here. It is not anything as they pump it up to be at the orientation.

Profile Completeness

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.
