Newark Middle School

i was a student at NMS and if i was a parent and had children i wouldn't bring them here, because most of the teachers weren't focused on academical purposes .they were more focused on what kids wear to school. even if the shorts were long enough they sent you to the suspension room because you didn't have clothes to change in or didn't wanna change in your gym clothes. While its even majorly hot out. When there consently taking kids out of class; there missing alot of stuff and wont have time to get caught up , which they expect them to in one or two days. to make it less harder on your child or children don't put them in this school.

This school is good education-wise, but there are some bad students that make this place look bad. Usually, the rules don't mean anything to the kids, and the teachers can't even control them. There are kids in this school who think that they have the right to make this school look bad. I am a student there, and I commonly get bullied by kids based on anything that I do. So if your kids is emotionally troubled or sensitive, do not send them to this school. Otherwise, this is an average school.

Newark middle school is a nice place over all, (after all every school has its flaws) but my eight years of education in the district, before transferring over to a Catholic school, were okay. The teachers were very devoted. The students were... interesting... in a scene that I made many friends. The chorus program was really fun! And sports (although I didn't play) were a good way to spent an afternoon. My old art teachers rocked!! I am currently in All Saints Catholic and to tell the truth I miss NMS! (Boy, I never thought I'd say that!!)
