Sacred Heart-St.Francis are the core of our Faith and our children need it more than any time in their young life. The alternative is not acceptable for a good American, Catholic life.

With the situation our country, State & local community is today it is so very important that our children receive the teaching of the church, the lessons of love/respect for one another and the knowledge of right vs wrong. I believe the teachers are providing this.

SH is very well respected by everyone in the Newburgh area.

the teachers and faculty at sacred heart are literally the heart of the school. they are outstanding in both academics and religious/character enrichment for the students. my children are thriving at sacred heart school.

Sacred Heart-St. Francis School epitomizes the meaning of Catholic education and community. The teachers are all dedicated to Catholic education and bring an unending sense of commitment and enthusiasm to everything they do. The result has been thousands of students with a strong bond with their teachers and an amazing education.

Recently retired, I was fortunate to have been part of the Sacred Heart School family as the Kindergarten teacher for almost twenty years. Sacred Heart's focus has always been to provide opportunities for each child to develop a love for learning within a Christ-centered environment. The three 'R's at Sacred Heart represent a strong foundation in Reading, 'Riting and 'Rithmetic AND Reverence, Respect and Responsibility. Sacred Heart School exemplifies what can be achieved when faculty, staff, parents and volunteers come together for the good of the children!

It impresses on the children the importance of caring for another human being, by keeping Christ alive in their hearts and minds. Also, Sacred Heart School, gives the community a place to call their own and feel that they may give back to their neighborhood families. Lastly, the school stresses the importance of family and friend unity, It teaches you how to work as one with each other. In an ever changing world today, there is not alot of consistency and consequences in what a childs actions impact have on one anothers lives, in SHS that is reiterated every day. These reasons are why I think that Sacred Heart school should stay open

I have been a teacher at Sacred Heart School for 18 years. The dedicated faculty is one of the best I have worked with through my career in teaching. Parents, students and teachers work together in harmony to make the school one that instills a love for God, a respect for all people, and a sense of responsibility in all aspects of life. This family centered school is an excellent catalyst for motivating young people to learn.
