LCA is a great school. My two children enjoyed the years they spent there. The teachers are very loving and make the learning fun for the children. The only down sides to LCA are: they have a strict dress code policy that in a way does not let the children express themselves like it should. They do not offer a second language program until you are in eighth grade so they are behind compared to other schools; also they do not have a band. Other than these few complaints LCA was a good school and safe environment for my children.

LCA is a wonderful school. The class size for our 2 children is about 16/17 per class. In our childrens classes about half of the class makes minimully Honorable mention ( 85 average or higher) each marking period. It is not an easy cirriculum either. The teachers there teach because they want to and enjoy teaching and their students. Sports programs are JV (4th-6th grade) and Varsity (7th-8th grade) Soccer and Basketball. Art and Music I am sure is comperable to the Public Schools. Parent involvment is high (some of the teachers are parents of some of students). If you want to be involved, there is plenty of opportunity. We found that the public schools want you involved, but only on their terms. Overall, I would strongly recommend this school. I wish I knew why the Times Herald Record never reviews this schools performance. It would make the Public Schools look bad!

We absolutely love LCA! Our two children are receiving a great christian education there and they are doing wonderfully. It's definitely worth the sacrifice! The staff is terrific - they always make time for any problems or concerns.

I have sent all 4 of my children to Leptondale Christian Academy. They have come away with an excellent education! LCA always receives high marks on all New York State tests. LCA graduates go on to high school and achieve high academic honors. LCA teachers genuinely care for each and every student; their goal is to serve God by ministering in the area of education to Christian families.

LCA was home to our 2 children through their elementary years. The staff at LCA are thoroughly equipped to provide an excellent education, both academically and spiritually. The atmosphere is loving and supportive. Parental involvement is welcome, but due to a variety of factors many parents have not been actively involved in PTO activities. However, those who choose to do so have been a tremendous asset to the school. I have worked at LCA as a teacher for many years. It has grown to be an outstanding school, preparing students for their lives as Christians in this world as well as for their academic future in high school. I have a grandchild attending the school presently. She loves it there!
