As a student at Saint Dominic Savio Middle School, I can honestly say that I enjoy being a part of this learning experience. The teachers make the biggest effort to help the kids achieve and reach the highest, most far away stars. Teachers make it obvious that they will do anything and everything to help the students succeed whether it's running off extra review sheets or staying after school with a student a day a week to help them get more practice with the material. Either way, the teachers are always there to help. This school is a safe, friendly comfort zone. From self-experience from being at this school and cases I've witnessed, students feel very comfortable and cozy around their teachers and that's the way every school should be. If only every school were like this one, you'd see many more successful people! I think what this school does is...

I am a student teacher and think this school has amazing teachers. The students learn everytime they come to class and seem to enjoy learning.

St. Dominic Middle School is a great school! They have clubs and math help after school once a week. The staff is very approachable and edifying. Christian attitudes and behavior is taught and reinforced. Another child tried to bully my son once and it was handled swiftly and fairly. The problem was solved. The school shares a gym with Niagara Catholic High School. The Two schools are connected. Some middle school students are involved in advanced studies there. My son has an IEP. The teachers have not had a problem following it. This year has been a positive experience for us and my son is loving school!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
