This is my fourth year in this school, and currently have two children attending. Have found this school to be a great environment both educationally and emotionally for my children. Principal is doing a great job, many parents are involved with the PTA, there is a really strong sense of community. Like another reviewer said, cannot get everything right every time, but my personal experiences have always been extremely positive.

Having just completed kindergarten at Belmont our son is looking forward to 1st grade. We also have a 5-yr old daugter that will enter this fall as a kindergartener and she too is looking forward to attending. As a PTA mom I have seen that the principal is very involved in all the activities as well as being very caring towards the students. The teachers are good and the PTA is great. Our son is reading books on his own and loves school. It seems to me that some parents are unrealistic in their expectations of teachers. We as the parents are mostly responsible for how much and how well our children learn; teachers are our reinforcements. I truly believe that this is a great school and the principal and staff are doing an amazing job.

My children have been going to Belmont for years, and I have found that academically this school is wonderful, the staff always puts the kids first. I have not had any problems that have not been able to be worked out. Everywhere in life, people make mistakes or occasionally have bad judgement, however, if you spend the time to talk with the staff, I have found the feedback is appreciated. This school deserves a good reputation,it has some of the finest teachers in it and a new principal who is still improving on a daily basis. She listens to ideas and lets you know whether or not they can be implemented.

My daughter is a kindergardener at this school, and so far I have been very pleased with what is going on in the school. Im sure that being a principle is a very tough job and dealing with many diffrent personalities must be hard but I think mrs. Jackson cares about the students and is doing a good job. I will however keep my eyes open.

I honesty think Mrs. Jackson is a great principal and is doing a good job - Although she should spend more time looking into each child and listening than protecting teachers with tenor. Not all children are the same and not all teachers are pleasant and nurturing. I found that out... Really hope my child gets a better teacher next year.....

I also do not recommend this school. They do not have the necessary patience or tolerance to be educators. THey need to start putting the children first.

Great teachers! Always willing to do their best for the children! the principal is a different story. Principal needs to address and act upon guarantying the safety of our children when it comes to recess time. I do not recommend this school, because the physical and emotional well being of our children must be priority no. 1 at all times, and the principal's leadership does not guarantee that.
